The expansion of the two-level Marriott Hall at Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina concluded in June 2016 on-time and below budget. The facility – featuring two 36k FT2 ballrooms, 60k FT2 of foyer space and over 85k FT2 of outdoor space – now totals over 280k FT2. The outdoor renovations boast a terrace, a paved event space overlooking the marina and a landscaped public path. The new meeting space achieved LEED® Silver Certification in October 2017.
